Britney Spears is offering an insight into her marriage, one year after her divorce from Sam Asghari.

The 42-year-old pop superstar took to her Instagram on Sunday, October 20, to announce that she has married herself, garnering widespread attention.

In the post, the Toxic hitmaker could be seen posing in a white silk wedding dress and a matching lace veil.

Setting the clip to Fields of Gold by Sting, she wrote in the caption, “The day I married myself … Bringing it back because it might seem embarrassing or stupid, but I think it’s the most brilliant thing I’ve ever done !!!”

In addition, the singer, who recently revealed her 'crazy girl crushes', appeared to be enjoying her solo honeymoon as she captioned the cryptic video, “!!! Turks and Caicos here I come.”
