Love is Blind’s Taylor Rue announces first pregnancy with Cameron Shelton
Taylor Rue revealed when her first baby with boyfriend Cameron Shelton is expected to arrive
Taylor Rue is expecting her first baby with boyfriend Cameron Shelton.
A representative for the Love is Blind star confirmed the news to People, stating that she is about to enter her second trimester.
This pregnancy is especially meaningful for the couple, gearing up to enter parenthood, as they would be welcoming their rainbow baby after Rue experienced a pregnancy loss earlier this year.
"Cam and I are expecting a new addition to our family! Baby Shelton is coming in April," Rue, 28, shared with the outlet. "Words truly can’t express how excited Cam and I are for this next chapter of our lives! The past few months have had a lot of ups and downs, but one thing that never changed is our love for each other and our faith."
Reflecting on her life after miscarriage, she mentioned that the couple chose not to put pressure on themselves while trying to conceive, instead focusing on enjoying each other’s company.
After several months, they took a test and discovered she was expecting. "We were so in shock and so happy. We found out on National Rainbow Baby Day," revealed Rue, who appeared in the fifth season of Love in Blind.
Although Rue left the Netflix show single after a difficult conversation with her former fiancé, JP Pierce, she announced last October on Instagram that she had found someone new.
Sharing a photo with Shelton, she captioned it, "Found my plus one."
