Zendaya never failed to make a statement on the red carpet with her stunning fashion choices.
On Saturday, October 19, the Dune actress graced the red carpet at the 2024 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, channeling Cher in an iconic look from Bob Mackie’s 2001 collection.
By choosing a Bob Mackie design, Zendaya, 28, offered a subtle nod to Cher, one of the music legends being inducted into the Hall of Fame this year.
Cher, 78, has been a longtime fan of Mackie, wearing his creations since 1967, when he first dressed her for The Carol Burnett Show.
Zendaya’s skin-baring ensemble featured a glimmering gold bodysuit adorned with beads, complemented by a sleek white satin coat.
The vintage look was pulled from Mackie’s 2001 Fall Fashion collection, as noted by Zendaya's longtime stylist and collaborator, Law Roach.
"Fall 2001 Bob Mackie Couture collection, Foreign Intrigue," Roach, 46, shared on his Instagram Stories, describing the Challengers actress' stunning appearance for the evening.
In addition to Cher, other inductees honoured during the ceremony at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio, included Mary J. Blige, Dave Matthews Band, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Kool & the Gang, Ozzy Osbourne, and A Tribe Called Quest.
