Liam Payne's sister Ruth Gibbins is making a sad confession about her brother, who tragically fell to death from his hotel in Argentina.
The late singer's sister took to her Instagram on Saturday, October 19, to talk about how Payne battled depression during his last days.
She wrote in a heartbreaking statement, “My brain is struggling to catch up with what’s happening and I don’t understand where you’ve gone.
“What I love most about you is your ability to make me laugh, I never chuckle as much as I do when I’m with you with anyone else.
Hinting at the One Direction alum's career struggles, Ms. Gibbins went on to add, “I don’t feel this world was good enough or kind enough to you, and quite often over the last few years, you’ve had to really try hard to overcome all that was being aimed at you."
In addition, she also revealed that the 31-year-old's goal was to shake up the music industry with his work.
Payne has received an outpouring of tributes from notable figures, including his former partner Cheryl, One Direction bandmates, girlfriend Kate Cassidy, and music mogul Simon Cowell.
