Actor Aditya Roy Kapur rarely talks about his personal ongoing but this time he managed to answer some pressing questions about largely private life including his relationship status.
During a conversation with Kareena Kapoor Khan in the show What Women Want, Aditya opened up about his take on commitment.
While reminiscing the dating days, he expressed that he had been into relationships and nothing makes him reluctant from being in any. Also, he dismissed the idea of being "commitment-phobic".
Aashiqui 2 actor revealed that, “I can’t say I’m commitment phobic because I had long-term relationships when I was younger, like a five-year relationship and a three-year relationship. I should not think I'm commitment-phobic.”
The 38-year-old believed that it is better to be with someone genuinely instead of getting into a relationship to avoid loneliness.
He mentioned: "You have to feel compelled to get into something with someone, and you have to feel like you really want it. You aren’t getting into it just because you don't like being on your own."
Kareena then asked the actor to jot down the qualities he finds desirable in a woman, to which the actor replied, “Sense of humour, being honest, someone who speaks their mind is an attractive thing and being passionate about something that they’re doing.”
Meanwhile, Aditya Roy Kapur is all set to return to the big screen with his movie, Metro In Dino.
The anthology film is directed by Anurag Basu and features a stellar ensemble cast, including Anupam Kher, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Neena Gupta.
