Princess Anne made a public appearance last night at Wembley Arena, joining thousands of fans to witness a captivating display of equestrian artistry, just weeks after recovering from a horse-related injury that had left her hospitalised for five days.

The 74-year-old Princess Royal attended the much-anticipated performance by the Spanish Riding School of Vienna, which was hosted by TV presenter Nicki Chapman.

The show featured the renowned Lipizzaner horses, a breed long admired by the Royal Family. The event showcased a series of elegantly choreographed routines, performed by eight riders and up to 26 horses, all set to classical Viennese music, reported Mirror.

Princess Anne’s presence at the event came shortly after she sustained a concussion and minor injuries in June when she was struck by a horse near her home. Despite the incident, which required a brief hospital stay, the King's sister looked in high spirits as she enjoyed the prestigious event.

A long-time supporter of the Spanish Riding School, Princess Anne has visited its training facility in Vienna multiple times over the years. In a rare and notable moment of recognition, she was even granted the honour of riding one of the Lipizzaner horses during a visit in 1969, alongside Queen Elizabeth II.

TV presenter Nicki Chapman, who hosted the event, said: “Hosting the opening night of the prestigious Spanish Riding School tour, with The Princess Royal in attendance, was an absolute honour. It’s been eight years since the Lipizzaner horses and their incredibly talented riders last visited the UK, and sharing the magic with both The Princess Royal and the British public made the evening all the more unforgettabl."
