Sabrina Carpenter became the first artist to smash the UK music charts in 71 years
Sabrina Carpenter made history as the first artist to rule in the United Kingdom's music charts.
On October 18, the official UK Charts shared that the Espresso singer has become the first-ever female artist in 71 years to chart three songs in the top 10 on the Hot 100 for straight seven weeks.
Sabrina’s song Taste has been at Number 1 spot for the eighth consecutive week now.
Taking to Instagram stories, the Please Please Please hitmaker reacted to the milestone and shared the delightful news with her fans.
The 25-year-old singer penned a heartfelt caption which reads, “Need to get my ass to the UK and individually hug every single one of you. Thank you so much!!!”
This achievement came following the songstress’ ongoing fifth concert tour, Short N’ Sweet.
Previously, the singer-turned-actress paid a sweet tribute to her fans by sharing a few glimpses on her social media from her recent musical performances in Philadelphia, Montreal, and Chicago.
It is pertinent to mention that Sabrina last performed at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, USA, on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
The On My Way musician will next perform at Lenovo Center in Raleigh on Saturday, October 19 this year.
