Martha Stewart brought a wave of nostalgia by recreating one of Audrey Hepburn’s iconic characters.
On Friday, October 18, People reported that the lifestyle mogul hosted a Breakfast at Tiffany's-inspired event with chef Daniel Boulud and businessman Lee Schrager for the New York City Wine and Food Festival (NYCWFF), chanelling Hepburn’s stylish character, Holly Golightly.
The 83-year-old shared highlights from the event on her Instagram, showcasing her styled blonde hair reminiscent of Hepburn’s character.
"Getting ready for another marathon day!! Breakfast at Tiffany's for the NY Wine and Food Festival, hosted this morning by @danielboulud, @leeschrager, and yours truly. It was a most elegant affair," she captioned the carousel.
For the Boulud’s Blue Box Café event, Stewart replicated Golightly’s look from the film’s opening scene, where she enjoys pastries outside the jewellery store.
Golightly’s hair was elegantly styled in an updo, with short bangs swept to the side and adorned with a diamond tiara.
While Hepburn's character donned a chic black satin gown, long gloves, and Tiffany’s pearl necklace, Stewart opted for a contemporary twist.
She wore a black turtleneck sweater paired with black leather pants and oversized tortoise sunglasses.
Her ensemble was completed with a pearl- and diamond-encrusted triangle bib necklace, which complemented her pearl earrings and diamond rings.
