Kanye West has spoken out for the first time since his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, accused him of sexual harassment and stalking.
Pisciotta, an influencer and ex-OnlyFans star, worked for West from 2021 to 2022.
In June, Pisciotta filed a lawsuit alleging West subjected her to extreme sexual harassment, including rape, sick fantasies, vile texts, and groping. A recent lawsuit details dozens of claims, including an incident at a party attended by P Diddy.
According to the lawsuit, West and his crew stayed at the St Regis Hotel in San Francisco while working on his Donda album in July 2021.
Pisciotta claims West tried to rape her again in her hotel room, knocking on her door at 6 am and barging in.
The lawsuit alleges West told Pisciotta he needed to shower in her room but emerged from the bathroom wearing only a towel, dropped it, and pushed her onto the bed.
"Ye then stepped onto the bed and stood tall, straddling himself over [Pisciotta's] body and looking down on her [Pisciotta], in a shocked state, somewhat braced herself for what might happen next."
Pisciotta claims she pleaded with West to stop, saying "I don't want to do this" repeatedly. Eventually, West allegedly got annoyed, apologized, and said it wouldn't happen again.
West's representative initially called the allegations "baseless."
Recently, West posted a cryptic photo of himself standing in front of a white wall, wearing baggy pants and a hoodie, with his face partially covered.
