Kareena Kapoor sets the record straight on dealing with hateful comments about her elder son Taimur's name.
During an exclusive interview with Miss Malini, the actress addressed the public scrutiny surrounding her son’s name and her personal life choices.
Reflecting on her grandfather’s valuable advice from her childhood, the Crew actress told the outlet, “My grandfather always told us that the fact that they are talking about you, good or bad, they are talking about you.
“Because why wouldn’t they talk? So, you have to take it in your stride if you want to be a superstar. Otherwise, this place is not for you. You will have to have a heart of stone.”
The 44-year-old opened up about the negativity surrounding her firstborn's name, which she shares with her husband, Saif Ali Khan.
She further went on to express her confusion, noting, “Of course it affected me that people were talking about Taimur’s name. But why?"
In addition, The Buckingham Murders actress also discussed her husband’s reaction to the attention their children receive on a regular basis.
Despite her disapproval of the public's critical views, Kareena said that Saif remains calm and composed, turning a deaf ear.
