Jennifer Lopez looks forward to her split with Ben Affleck, says 'I’m excited'

Jennifer Lopez, who filed a divorce from Ben Affleck on August 20, has expressed her excitement on living a single life after split.

Lopez said that she is excited to be on her own now. Further, when asked about her dating life, the On the Floor singer clearly stated ‘that she is not looking for anybody.’

While talking to Interview Magazine, The Boy Next Door actress stated: "Now I’m excited, when you say you’re just going to be on your own.”

Jennifer, 55, further added: “Yes, I’m not looking for anybody, because everything that I’ve done over the past 25, 30 years, being in these different challenging situations, what can I f****** do when it’s just me flying on my own ... what if I'm just free?"

The American singer and Songwriter further opened up about what she learnt through all the ups and downs in her life. She said: "It’s a lifelong process. I think that's what I love about life: that there's no arrival point."

"There's only getting better and growing if you want to. It's either growing or dying, and I don't want to do the dying part", she added.

Lopez went on to say: "And yeah, there’s times when I thought I figured it out, and then life goes, 'Let’s send you another thing and see if you fall for it. Let's see if you really have learned that lesson.' And I hadn't.”

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck got married in 2022. The couple is now parting ways two years after their marriage.
