Usher offered Jungkook to share the stage with him at the Super Bowl halftime show; however, the BTS star was forced to turn down the most anticipated live performance.

According to Billboard, the Yeah! hitmaker tapped Jungkook, 27, to perform the Standing Next to You remix, but unfortunately, the latter had to turn it down due to his packed schedule at the South Korean military services.

Shortly after this news gained traction among the fans, BTS ARMY was down in the dumps, per Korean news outlet Koreaboo.

During the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show, Usher delivered an electrifying rendition of a medley of his hit tracks including, My Way, Superstar, Bad Girl, Nice & Slow, Turn Down For What, My Boo, Love In This Club and more.

As for the South Korean singer-songwriter, he was enlisted in the military on December 13, 2023, and is expected to reunite with his bandmates Jin, Jimin, J Hope, RM, Suga and V in 2025.

Most recently, he made his big-screen debut with his first-ever solo documentary, JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL, which premiered on September 4.

The film chronicled the interviews, never-before-seen footage, and electrifying concert performances, providing insight into the extraordinary rise of global superstar.
