Badla’s director Sujoy Ghosh is making a surprising revelation about Amitabh Bachchan from the sets of the 2019 film.
During an exclusive interview with Mashable India, the filmmaker reacted to the Sholay actor’s photo while they were working on the film together.
Referring to Big B as ‘the person’ in his life, the director recounted an instance from the past that involved Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu.
He told the publication, “In this scene, he was rehearsing for, I think, the 16th or 17th time. Everyone else was tired and had fallen asleep somewhere in the corner; Taapsee had fainted somewhere.”
However, Sujoy confirmed that the 81-year-old didn’t give into the pressure and insisted, “Let’s do this.”
On professional front, the director has his hands full with his next film King featuring Shah Rukh Khan and his daughter Suhana Khan in lead roles.
A source close to the franchise offered an insight into the schedule of the upcoming film, planning to take it on floors in January 2025.
The insider stated, “The first schedule of King commences in Mumbai from January, followed by a marathon schedule in Europe.
“The makers have done multiple rounds of recce in Europe to identify virgin locations that bring scale to King. The film features SRK in the titular role with Suhana Khan, Abhay Verma, and Abhishek Bachchan.”
