Prince Harry has arrived at a 'secret' venue in London for the WellChild Awards this afternoon.
The Duke of Sussex is attending the event solo, without Meghan Markle. He arrived at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, dressed in a black suit and a blue tie. To ensure his safety, Harry requested that the event's location remain confidential until today, reported GB News.
A source said: "Harry is still very concerned about his security in the UK and his team have asked that the location not be shared with anyone until the day of the event.
"It's one thing for Harry to come over last minute for a funeral or to see family, but completely different when the event is publicised and in the public domain.
"He [Harry] could become a target so the team have ensured that the location only be known on a need to know basis."
King Charles is currently in Scotland and has no plans to visit London to see his youngest son. As a result, the Duke of Sussex will need to travel to Scotland after his engagement if he wishes to see his father.
Harry has not seen Charles since February 2024, shortly after it was revealed that the monarch had been diagnosed with cancer.
During their last meeting at Clarence House, they had a 45-minute conversation, but they have not seen each other in seven months, even though Harry has returned to the UK three times during that period.
Meanwhile, Prince William and Princess Kate are expected to avoid a reunion with Prince Harry this week.
