Shah Rukh Khan opens up about his 'love' for awards
Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan issues first statement after winning the best actor award at the International Indian Film Academy Awards.
Referring to his return to Bollywood after a hiatus of four years, King Khan expressed gratitude towards his fans as he stepped up to collect the award.
He turned towards the crowd and said, "I think I have a little happiness from the audience this year because I worked (again) after a long time."
The Pathaan actor, who is known for his spectacular performance worldwide, announced, "I love awards, I'm greedy about awards. I just want to tell you it's good to be back."
On professional front, Srk made a phenomenal return to the big screen with his biggest success story last year.
The 58-year-old actor made a dramatic pivot, transitioning from romantic lead to rugged action hero.
This development follows a tumultuous period in the actor's personal and professional life, including the highly publicized arrest of his son, Aryan Khan.
Shah Rukh is currently gearing up for his upcoming film King, which is slated to release in 2026.
