Prince Harry is seemingly making carefully curated moves to give the public what they really want, whether he likes it or not.
The Duke of Sussex was recently on a solo trip to New York in a bid to promote his charities through many high-profile events as he also rubbed shoulders with world leaders.
Given that Prince Harry is usually inseparable from his wife Meghan Markle, especially at exclusive and star-studded events like these, many have been led to believe that this is either a major shift in strategy or the couple is splitting their professional ventures.
Harry has flown into UK to attend the WellChild Awards, a charity he has been supporting for the past 16 years, without Meghan. Well-placed sources suggest that Harry is now giving in what the public really wants.
“It became very clear, very quickly that Harry still has a considerable fanbase worldwide,” the insider told Express.co.uk, suggesting that King Charles’ younger son is trying to gain the public’s favour.
“More so than Meghan maybe which just goes to show that his royal connection is what's keeping them afloat,” the source continued. “There’s been a conscious effort to focus on that love for Harry so in the long-term that adoration can seep through the both of them.”
The news comes as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex deal with a major PR blow as former staff members bash the couple for mistreatment of their employees. Many of the ex-staffers target Meghan in their allegation terming her with names such as “Duchess Difficult” and “dictator in high heels.”
