Halle Berry's latest transformation left fans 'speechless'
Halle Berry unveils dramatic transformation for 'Never Let Go' role
Halle Berry shocked her followers with a dramatic transformation for her upcoming film Never Let Go, showcasing her character's impressively hairy armpits on Instagram.
Berry posted a collection of photos and videos from the set, captioning it: "Momma in the making. One of the most complex characters I've had the pleasure of embodying. #NeverLetGo is in theaters everywhere!"
The Oscar winner's followers were surprised, with some expressing relief that the look was just for the movie.
"OMG you scared me!!! thank the Lord this is for a movie," commented Tami Roman.
"Wow, the things actors do to fulfill the roles they're in. Thought for a moment Halle had started to grow an armpit jungle," another fan wrote.
Berry's stylist, Norma Patton-Lowin, joined her in the first clip, showcasing the transformation.
"So what's happening here, Norma? What did you do? What did you do there, Norma?" Berry asked.
Patton-Lowin replied, "The things I do to you," as they laughed together.
Patton-Lowin later commented on Berry's post: "Thank you Halle for letting me take you to the limit for your character! I had a lot of fun working with you to create 'Momma'."
The dramatic look is a far cry from Berry's glamorous appearance at the film's New York City premiere on September 17.
There, she wore a stunning metallic, chain-embellished halter gown from Tamara Ralph and was accompanied by boyfriend Van Hunt.
