Kristen Bell is making a surprising revelation about the iconic TV show Gossip Girl.
The actress, who brought the enigmatic Gossip Girl to life with her voiceover narration, opened up to Bustle about only recently discovering the 2012 show's filming location.
She jokingly told the publication, “The funny thing is, as Gossip Girl, I was only on a microphone in Los Angeles; I was never shooting with them.”
Turning her head towards her Nobody Wants This co-star Adam Brody, who is married to the Gossip Girl icon Leighton Meester, Bell inquired, “I didn’t even know where they shot. Where’d they shoot that show?”
He quipped, “Um, Montreal.”
To which, Bell instantly responded, “OK, first time hearing of it.”
Brody was prompted by the voice actress to clarify his answer, adding, “Well, New York.”
The 44-year-old said that she missed out on this major detail about the show as she was very deeply-invested in adding ‘sass’ to its ‘scandalous’ story-line.
For the unversed, the show aired for six seasons (2007-2012) and ranked among the most-watched shows of its time, starring Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, Penn Badgley, and Chace Crawford in lead roles.
