J Hope is over the moon as his childhood idol J. Cole raved over BTS in his new song.
On Friday, September 27, American rapper Tee Grizzley released a new track, Blow for Blow, featuring J. Cole, who has been J Hope’s muse since the very beginning.
In the track, the 39-year-old rapper and record producer honoured the globally acclaimed South Korean boy band, which features Jimin, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Suga, V, and J Hope, with a special shout-out.
"I stay hot, doin’ number like K-pop, BTS in the flesh while they flop," Cole rapped confidently, showing competitiveness in the music industry, using BTS as a benchmark for success.
Shortly after, the 30-year-old South Korean rapper and songwriter took to his Instagram stories to post a snippet of the song mentioning the BTS part.
Presumably, the stunned BTS bandmember overlaid the video with two words, "Cole Hyung…."
For the unversed, J-hope treasured a very close bond with J. Cole. The iconic rapper, who has been an inspiration for the Dynamite vocalist since childhood, was featured on J Hope's solo song On The Street.
