David Beckham and his wife, Victoria Beckham, have recently faced another challenge as their neighbours planned extensive housing renovations right next to their London mansion after years of home makeover drama.
As reported by The Sun, the celebrity couple’s new neighbours intended to transform their luxurious home, which included five floors, six bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, a kitchen, and an underground swimming pool.
However, the West London council required both the Beckhams and their neighbours to submit a pre-planning advice document, specifying that consent from the celebrity couple would be necessary before approval.
The planning officer wrote in a letter to Beckham's, "You are expected to discuss your proposals with all neighbours with a boundary with your site."
"We will advise them of any application, as well as any residents' association or society," the officer stated.
For the unversed, Victoria and David have two beautiful homes in the United Kingdom that they have been upgrading for years.
However, the £31 million London mansion known as Beckingham Palace II will face a new challenge from their new next-door mates.
It is important to mention that back in 2023 the 49-year-old former footballer sparked the home controversy rumours with their neighbours when he opposed their renovation plans, citing concerns over his home's aesthetic.
