Duchess Sophie receives new title for selflessly supporting King Charles

Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh achieved a major milestone for selflessly extending support to King Charles, especially during his cancer battle. 

Since the monarch and Kate Middleton's cancer diagnosis, the Duchess of Edinburgh stepped up as an active working royal and performed more than usual official engagements. 

Recently, Sophie represented the royal family in Tanzania to initiate charitable projects, combating preventable blindness.

Speaking of Prince Edward's wife's contributions, royal expert Jennie Bond told OK! Magazine, "She may look like the perfect English rose: demure, understated and genteel – but she is also a tigress when it comes to championing women's rights... and I love that about her."

While dubbing Sophie the royal family's "secret weapon," the royal commentator added, "She is seen as a safe pair of hands when carrying out her royal engagements either with the rest of the family or by herself."

Jennie believes that the monarch's sister-in-law "doesn't complain and demand," but she just "gets on with supporting the King when asked, and with pursuing her interests the rest of the time."
