Lana Del Rey, Jeremy Dufrene intimate wedding: Special meaning behind venue

Lana Del Rey and Jeremy Dufrene made sure they took their vows at place meaningful to their love story.

"The wedding ceremony and reception were both held in the same bayou where Jeremy operates his swamp boats tours,” an insider told People Magazine.

The Born to Die hitmaker tied the knot on September 26, in Des Allemandes, Los Angeles.

“This is where they first met," the insider said of the venue. "It's a special place for them. It was a beautiful, relaxed and family focused wedding. The focus was just on their love story."

The couple obtained a marriage license from the Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court in Louisiana on September 23, three days before the wedding. The wedding was confirmed by an Airboat Tours by Arthur employee on September 27.

In images shared by multiple media outlets, Del Rey can be seen looking like a traditional bride in a white gown, while Dufrene donned a dark suit for the big night.

According to reports, the Summertime Sadness songstress' father, Robert Grant, walked her down the aisle.

The wedding setup was near the water as a boat nearby was decked out with greenery and white florals.

The couple publicly hinted at their romance back in 2019 when the singer shared photos with Dufrene on Facebook after taking one of his wildlife tours.

Meanwhile, the Born to Die singer has been private about her romance even after dating rumours spread following their cosy appearance in London as they were spotted holding hands.

Del Rey and Dufrene are yet to confirm their marriage.
