Amanda Seyfried has recently revealed her seven-year-old daughter is “obsessed” with Mamma Mia! movie.

While speaking to PEOPLE at the Best Friends Animal Society Gala at The Glasshouse in New York City, the Mean Girls star said, “My daughter's obsessed with her character Sophia in Mamma Mia!

“My mom showed my daughter, and my daughter is now obsessed, and so she's 7, so she's in second grade, and all her friends are obsessed,” stated the 38-year-old.

The Last Word actress mentioned, “So now they're starting to recognise me as Sophie, which is a little weird, but how beautiful.”

Amanda noted, “I don't think she quite understands it, but she loves it. She loves it!”

Not only original movie, but she’s also a fan of the 2018 sequel, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.

“She loves both of them, she's like, ‘Can we listen to Mamma Mia! right now?’ Even yesterday, and I was like, ‘Yeah, which one, one or two?’” she told the outlet.

Amanda continued, “And then we listen, and then she'll be like, ‘No, let's do 'Lay All Your Love On Me.’”

Calling the moments “trippy,” the Gringo actress pointed out, “I'm listening to this music with my daughter, who is now understanding and they're appreciating it.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Amanda opened up that rescuing pets “teaches her daughter and son a lot about life and responsibility while saving and creating space for animals that don't otherwise would have been no longer if they'd stayed in the situation they were in”.

“It's just like that's a lesson in itself for children, and when you add that rescue element to it, you really understand how much of a gift that is, and the fact that they can do it,” explained the Anon actress.

Amanda added, "They have the power to do it."
