Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck maintain 'romantic' image for family
Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez come together for family's well-being despite differences
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are reportedly ‘playing nice’ for the sake of their kids following their tumultuous split.
JLo, who had filed for divorce from estranged husband on August 20, is still trying to put on a united front as they were last spotted enjoying a family lunch together.
An insider opened up to Closer about the former celebrity couple’s approach towards their children shortly after they filed for divorce.
The source revealed, “J.Lo has so much resentment. She’s been a lot more icy towards Ben and made it plain that she’ll never forgive him for giving up on the marriage in such a cold-hearted way. She’s agreed to play nice and try to look past this for the sake of the kids, but the tension is palpable.”
Despite their attempts to stay civil around each other, an insider insider shared that “they’d been bickering a lot over the phone even before this meet-up, which went about as badly as everyone had feared.
“The feeling is that the sooner the ink’s dry on the divorce papers, the better it will be for everyone.”
Previously, The Boy Next Door alum garnered attention on social media after her team mishandled JLo Beauty’s promotional post featuring her ‘Ben’ clasp necklace.
For the unversed, the couple called it quits last month after tying the knot in a luxurious wedding ceremony in 2022.
