Prince Harry, who's set to return to the UK on Monday, is said to be in deep waters due to King Charles and Prince William's bombshell move.
The Duke of Sussex, who turned 40 on September 15, received surprising public messages from his cancer stricken dad King Charles and estranged brother Prince William's social media accounts, writing: "Wishing The Duke of Sussex a very happy 40th birthday today!"
The image used by the Palace originally showed Harry's wife Meghan sitting next to the Duke of Sussex but she has been cropped out of the picture by the photographer who took the snap.
The post reportedly left Harry in a fix as it seemingly hurt his wife Meghan.
A source close to the Sussexes, has revealed: "The King and William's post has created new trouble for Harry as he's not ready to let Meghan feel hurt."
"The Duke has made it clear that he has no intention to ditch Meghan," they added.
The Firm's gesture may have been an olive branch to the Duke, showing willingness to reconcile with the royal. However, it left Harry in trouble as the move indicates that the Duchess is not in the monarch's immediate thoughts.
Some royal fans defended the monarch and the future King's decision as they believe it's Harry's birthday not Meghan's, lambasting the haters for their inappropriate assumption.
