Meghan Markle and Prince Harry rub shoulders with celebrities at pre-birthday event
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attend party on eve of Duke’s birthday celebrations
Prince Harry wasn’t the only one celebrating a milestone last weekend.
The Duke of Sussex along with his wife Meghan Markle attended a star-studded birthday bash for one of their closest friends, actor Tyler Perry.
The couple was spotted arriving and departing from Perry’s Montecito home on Saturday to join in on his 55th birthday festivities.
The exclusive party, which kicked off around 7 p.m., drew a glittering guest list of A-listers, including talk show queen Oprah Winfrey, singer Alicia Keys, and actor Aaron O'Connell.
TV personality Gayle King was also seen making an appearance, along with some of the Sussexes' neighbors, Paramount CEO Brian Robbins and his wife Tracy.
A local worker involved in the event’s setup told Mail Online that the evening was filled with "a lot of music, dancing, and singing," creating an unforgettable night for Perry and his celebrity friends.
"Everyone was having a great time. It was a good party with lots of famous faces, but I can’t say more," one of the event’s staff told MailOnline.
The couple, seen smiling and laughing in the back of their car, spent four hours at the event before departing around 11 p.m.
It's rumored that a man, sounding much like Harry, gave a speech at the party, which was held at Tyler’s luxurious six-bedroom estate, located just minutes from the Sussexes' residence.
