Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly "deeply concerned" over the timing of a recent article in the U.S. that portrays Meghan in an unflattering light.
The piece, which surfaced ahead of Harry's upcoming 40th birthday celebrations, suggests that the Duchess of Sussex "marches around like a dictator in heels" and claims she "belittles" and "terrifies" staff.
The article, published by The Hollywood Reporter, further alleges that Meghan has been labeled "Duchess Difficult" by some former staff members and is accused of refusing to take advice.
The couple is said to be alarmed by the release of these accusations, particularly given the recent departure of several staff members from their team.
A source close to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has expressed frustration over the latest wave of negative press, stating, "The Sussex team has had more than enough of these kinds of articles — it's simply not true."
The source pointed out that the timing of the piece, which was published just days before Prince Harry's 40th birthday, has raised concerns within the couple's inner circle.
"There are fears that a disgruntled former staff member may be spreading false information to tarnish their reputation," the insider added.
Despite the distractions, the Sussexes remain focused on the future. "Camp Sussex is determined to build on the success of the past year and carry that positive momentum into 2025 and beyond."
