Jennie Garth poured her heart out about the Beverly Hills, 90210 reboot, expressing some regrets about her involvement.
At the 90s Con 2024 in Daytona Beach on Saturday, September 14, Garth reunited with former castmates Brian Austin Green, Gabrielle Carteris, and Ian Ziering.
During their discussion, she didn’t hold back her thoughts on the reboot that aired from 2008 to 2013.
Green reflected positively on the show’s concept, which followed wealthy students at West Beverly Hills High School. However, Garth admitted she wished she had not participated.
"I wish I hadn’t done it. No offense to them,: said the 52-year-old actress. "The producer was a friend of a friend. I remember he came over to my living room, sat me down, and pitched it as this incredible opportunity. He asked me to be involved, and at the time, I didn’t know how to say no. But the people were very nice, and I wish them all the best."
While Garth, Shannen Doherty, and Tori Spelling were among the original cast members who joined the reboot alongside new stars like Shenae Grimes and AnnaLynne McCord, the original Beverly Hills, 90210 cast later reunited for another revival, Fox's BH90210 in 2019, portraying heightened versions of themselves in a serialised drama.
