Taylor Swift is a huge inspiration behind new milestones in Gracie Abrams’ career.
In her Who What Wear cover story, the Risk singer opened up about the “undeniable” inspiration the Fortnight songstress has on her album.
The 25-year-old popstar was a show opener in Eras Tour for Swift and fondly recalled performing their collaborative song, Us alongside her role model, in June.
"We wrote it the way that we played it at Wembley," Abrams told the outlet.
Reflecting on her Eras Tour experience, she added, "To see somebody have the ability to, in a stadium, make it feel like you and her are the only two people there, that was hugely important for me to see."
Abrams shared that the Eras Tour also inspired her latest LP, The Secret of Us, which features Swift and was released in June.
The Close To You singer revealed that she is looking forward to once again open for her friend's concerts in Canada, that are set to begin from November 14.
"I am so f---ing happy that we get to do [The Secret of Us] on Eras just because so much of the album was undeniably inspired by the kind of energy that radiates from both Taylor herself and her fans, [who] are just so committed and passionate," Abrams said.
In a previous interview with People Magazine, the up-and-coming popstar called Swift an "unbelievable performer and the most generous friend."
"It's not lost on me that her belief in me has really just ... done a lot. So, I'm deeply grateful to her, forever," she said.
