Lady Gaga recalled how she first met her now-husband Michael Polansky in her October cover story for Vogue.
The Joker: Folie à Deux star recounted how she met the entrepreneur and tech investor at Napster founder and Facebook co-founder Sean Parker's birthday party in December 2019, after her mother Cynthia Germanotta met him and predicted the couple’s marriage.
Polansky, Parker and Mark Zuckerberg attended Harvard at the same time.
“I got invited [to Parker's party] and I said, ‘I wonder if Michael is going to be there,’ and my mom said yes,” the A Star Is Born actress said.
“So I went to the party and I kept asking for him and he finally came over to me and we talked for three hours. We had the most amazing conversation.”
Polansky, who also features in the cover story, also shared his perspective of the meeting.
“I didn’t know much about her and honestly wasn’t sure what to expect,” he said. “I was struck immediately by her warmth and openness — she was so genuinely curious about what my life was like growing up in Minnesota.”
