Prince William has set a significant condition before initiating crucial discussions with Prince Harry.
The Duke of Sussex and the Prince of Wales, who have been estranged, recently came face-to-face at their uncle's funeral in Norfolk but did not engage with one another during the event.
According to a source close to the situation, both brothers are open to reconciliation. However, William is seeking a fresh start and prefers that past disagreements remain unaddressed.
The source said: "Harry is open to reconciling with his brother.
"He knows it won't be an easy task but it is something that can be brought to the table."
They continued: "William is not opposed to a reconciliation with his brother at some point, but things would need to start from scratch, a fresh start type scenario, where things from the past are not to be mentioned."
According to a source, Prince Harry is demanding an apology from Prince William before he will consider rejoining the Royal Family.
Nearly five years ago, Harry and his wife Meghan Markle stepped back from their royal duties and relocated to the US with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Reports suggest that Harry's return to royal life is contingent on William offering an apology. Additionally, Harry has expressed concerns about inadequate security for his family when visiting the UK.
He recently stated that he would not bring Meghan back to the UK unless his security arrangements were improved. Meghan has not travelled to the UK since Queen Elizabeth II's funeral in September 2022
