'New dad' Varun Dhawan reveals sweet detail about daughter

New dad Varun Dhawan is getting candid about his relationship with his daughter.

During an exclusive interview at the trailer launch of his niece Anjini Dhawan's film Binny and Family, the Student of the Year actor revealed that, apart from his parents and wife, even his newborn daughter keeps him in check.

He said, "It feels a bit strange that mom and dad just scolded me, and then as soon as I enter the baby's room, the kid is also scolding me, and then my wife is scolding me too. So, at that moment, you start to wonder what your position is in the house."

Previously, the actor announced the birth of his daughter in a heartwarming Instagram post.

The video displayed the newborn's birth date as well as a message that read, “We are overjoyed with this new blessing in our lives. During this special time, we request the media to respect our privacy. Thank you for your support and understanding. Natasha & Varun.”

Meanwhile, he wrote in the caption, “Our baby girl is here. Thank you for all the good wishes for both mama and baby.”

On professional front, the Bawaal actor is gearing up for his upcoming starrer Baby John.
