During an exclusive interview with Rhea Chakraborty , the 3 Idiots actor shared that he regrets being absent from Junaid, Ira, and Azad's lives.
Aamir stressed that while he always prioritised his work and aimed to leave a lasting impression on his audience, he never thought about being there for his children during their crucial times.
He told Chakraborty on Chapter 2 of her podcast, "My focus was always on winning over the audience. I had no idea about their feelings or needs when they were young.
"I knew everything about my team and directors but was unaware of my own children’s challenges."
The actor shockingly confessed he almost quit the industry for the same reason.
He revealed that his children, Ira and Junaid, who recently made his debut with Maharaj, urged him to keep working, warning him that retiring would be a huge mistake.
