Jon Voight, Angelina Jolie's estranged father, has made a heartfelt plea to her ex Brad Pitt, urging him to bring an end to their nearly decade-long divorce battle for the sake of their children.
Speaking to Fox News Digital, the 85-year-old actor expressed his hope that the ex-couple could "find a way to make peace," especially now that their children need stability more than ever.
Voight’s comments come shortly after Shiloh, Pitt and Jolie’s 18-year-old daughter, legally dropped her father's last name.
"I think the kids need some stability," Voight said. "I love the kids, and I love my daughter. And I want Brad to step up to do, you know, what he has to do. End this nonsense,” he asserted.
The bitter split, which began in 2016, has seen Pitt and Jolie locked in a contentious battle, particularly over a shared vineyard.
The ongoing drama has deeply impacted their six children — Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16 — who have reportedly formed a close-knit bond with their mother.
Shiloh's decision to change her name from Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie, without a formal hearing, only highlights the growing divide within the family.
