Blake Lively is reportedly "fearing" for her career amid the ongoing fallout surrounding her latest film, It Ends With Us. 

Sources close to the Gossip Girl alum reveal she may be considering stepping back to "reassess her future" after the project sparked intense backlash.

The lead-up to the movie's release was marred by rumors of a feud between Lively, and her co-star Justin Baldoni which only fueled online scrutiny. 

Lively faced criticism for promoting the film—centered on domestic abuse—through her alcohol brand and for downplaying serious questions about the film's themes during interviews.

Now, insiders have told DailyMail.com that Lively is deeply concerned about the impact this negative attention could have on her career. 

"She believed this was going to be her moment to shine," the source shared, "but she's terrified it could mark the end of her career."

"Blake is definitely saddened by the negativity and is trying not to let it affect her, but it is," a source shared. 

"She thought this was her moment to shine, but now she fears it could be the end of her career. She’s worried no one will want to work with her after this."

According to the source, she has ambitions to continue producing, directing, and acting, feels the need to take a step back and reassess her future. 

A separate insider revealed that Lively and Baldoni clashed during production, with the actress reportedly frustrated by his allegedly "dismissive" attitude toward her input on scenes involving abuse. 

The source described Baldoni's approach as "chauvinistic," focusing solely on the abusive male perspective and sparking conflict between the leads.
