Suga, one of the seven BTS members, expressed deep regret as he bowed in front of the media to apologise publicly for his disappointing behaviour.
On Friday, August 23, Suga, whose real name is Min Yoon-gi, appeared at the Yongsan Police Station for investigation regarding his recent DUI incident.
"I’m sorry, I’m very sorry," he apologised to his fans all around the globe, especially BTS ARMY. “I sincerely reflect on the fact I caused disappointment to many fans and people.”
"I will cooperate fully with the investigation. I am sorry again," the 31-year-old South Korean rapper added before entering the station.
This isn’t the first time he has apologised, the following day of the DUI incident, Suga and HYBE issued an apology for his reckless actions.
For the unversed, the singer, who is currently performing mandatory military duties as a social service agent, was found lying on the ground next to his e-scooter late at night on August 6 with a blood alcohol level well over the legal limit.
Though he already had his driving licence revoked and been fined, Suga still needs to answer police questions, as officers said he was too drunk to respond at the time of the incident.
