The Duke of York hopes to bequeath his lease to his two daughters

Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice may inherit two properties from Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson in the future, including Andrew's Royal Lodge and Fergie's two-bedroom apartment in Belgravia, central London.

The Royal Lodge lease, which has 54 years remaining, is intended to be passed on to the sisters, despite King Charles's request for Andrew to vacate it.

The Duke of York plans to remain at the Royal Lodge, as he is not required to leave until the lease expires, having signed it in 2003.

King Charles has suggested that Andrew move to a smaller residence, with Frogmore Cottage being a potential alternative. Andrew has resisted this move.

Sarah Ferguson's £4 million Belgravia apartment, which she bought outright two years ago, has reportedly been largely unoccupied.

This property is viewed as a "long-term investment" for their daughters, with royal biographer and historian Andrew Lownie describing it as "purely an investment."

"It's basically a nest egg for their two daughters. I think it's purely an investment," he told the MailOnline.

If Andrew and Fergie are kicked out of Royal Lodge, there are a number of other properties they could live.

The most likely option is Frogmore Cottage but Wood Farm and Garden House - located on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk - are also contenders.

It comes after it has been reported that Andrew and Fergie are hesitant and avoid escalating their disagreements during their holiday in Scotland, according to sources.

King Charles and Queen Camilla are currently at Balmoral Castle in Aberdeenshire for their summer break, with the Duke and Duchess of York among their initial guests.

However, the family gathering may have its share of uncomfortable moments as the monarch and his younger brother are engaged in tense discussions regarding Andrew's residence, Royal Lodge, reported GB News.

Prince Andrew has resided in the Windsor property, which was previously the home of the late Queen Mother, since 2003.

King Charles, now 75, is pushing for the duke—who is no longer an active member of the Royal Family—to downsize to a smaller, less costly home.

As part of this effort, the King plans to disband the 10-member security team assigned to Royal Lodge. The team has been told their services will no longer be required starting this autumn.
