Hema Malini divides internet with ‘assertive’ gesture towards a fan

Hema Malini raises eyebrows with her latest gesture as female fan tries to pose with the veteran actress.

In the video that surfaced on the internet, the actor-turned-politician appeared irritated when a fan aimed to place her hand on her shoulder.

The actress, who is widely known for her role in Baghban, refrained the fan from touching her as she took a step back.

Her assertiveness garnered attention from fans, who were quick to react.

One user commented, "Touch is very personal, not everyone is comfortable with it , that’s why in our sansakars we have Namaste & Not shake hands, lots of energy exchanges happen with any touch , one has to be careful each time"

While another chimed in, adding, "Totally acceptable she cool in taking the photo, just don’t touch her hand off".

However, others condemned the gesture, penning, “Who on earth wants to take a photo with this arrogant sour p***??!”

Another wrote, “I agree that consent is very important.. but still her reaction was also not ethical”
