Jennifer Lopez breaks silence as Ben Affleck makes final call

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck as inched closer to divorce, the singer felt completely “furious” and “humiliated” over the decision of split.

As per Page Six, the Marry Me star is “furious,” as how “He (Ben Affleck) has humiliated her. He was the one who initiated getting back together.”

The On the Floor hitmaker and Affleck reconnected in July 2021, after her breakup with Alex Rodriguez.

The couple had previously dated from 2002 to 2004, after starring together in the film "Gigli".

They're now together again, with Lopez being 55 and Affleck being 51.

“He’s humiliated her because she made a big deal that he’s the love of her life,” explained the source.

“They just had two weddings two years ago. This is some kind of a record, they’re not young kids.”

Lopez and Hypnotic star got married in an intimate Las Vegas ceremony in July 2022, followed by a second celebration at Affleck's Georgia home in August.

Their romance inspired Lopez's album This Is Me...Now and the Amazon Prime documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told, which featured Affleck.

“She is a romantic,” the source revealed.

Apart from that, the Hustlers star was also upset because of the involvement of children in the matter.

“There are five kids involved in this,” said the source. “She knew they were going to blend families. She has not fully accepted it is over.”

Notably, Lopez is really close with Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s daughter Violet.

For those unversed, the couple is no more on speaking terms and are reportedly slowing down the divorce process as the stars haven’t hired the divorce lawyers yet.
