Zac Efron’s health update after brief hospitalisation during vacation
'A Family Affair' star Zac Efron went to Spain to attend the 2024 Paris Olympics
Zac Efron is on the road to recovery following a brief hospitalisation due to a minor accident during his European getaway.
While the Family Affair star has not personally addressed the "minor swimming incident" on his social media accounts, his representative has provided an update on his health.
"He is fine," the rep confirmed to People magazine after TMZ first reported that the actor was rushed to a hospital in Ibiza on Friday night.
Reports indicate that Efron, 36, was rescued from a swimming pool at a villa by two workers before being taken to the hospital as a "precautionary measure."
According to his representative, the High School Musical alum is "recovering just fine" and was discharged from the medical facility on Saturday morning, August 3.
He arrived in Spain to attend the 2024 Paris Olympics. In addition to his appearance at the opening ceremony on July 26, the Greatest Showman star shared a snapshot of himself by the Seine River, referencing his visit to Europe for the international multi-sport event.
Earlier this week, Efron was also spotted on stage with DJ Martin Garrix during his performance at the Ushuaïa Ibiza Hotel and Beach Club in the Spanish city.
