Kansas City Chiefs players Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes made a surprise appearance alongside country singer Morgan Wallen at his concert held at Arrowhead Stadium on Friday, August 2.
In footage shared on social media, Kelce and Mahomes joined Wallen, 31, who wore a bespoke Chiefs jersey with the number seven, a nod to his high school baseball number and coincidentally the number worn by Chiefs player Harrison Butker.
Butker recently faced controversy over his commencement speech in May.
Brittany Mahomes, Patrick's wife, also attended the event and shared a video on her Instagram Stories, capturing the moment the trio appeared on the stadium's big screen.
She cheered enthusiastically, saying, “Look at my boys!” as the group walked through a backstage corridor to "WHISKEY WHISKEY" by Moneybagg Yo, featuring Wallen.
A fan account shared footage on Instagram showing Wallen walking through a backstage door, followed by Kelce and Brittany.
Wallen, dressed in a Chiefs jersey, led the way, nodding and waving to the music, while Kelce and she mirrored his movements.
He wore dark pants, a cap, and a white t-shirt with "We're Beer for You" emblazoned on it, while she opted for a blue button-down shirt and blue jeans.
