Prince Harry once again ignited his rift with his cancer-stricken father, King Charles, with a new shocking claim, a report revealed.
As reported by The Daily Beast, the Duke of Sussex believes that the Monarch has the 'power' to extend a helping hand amid his ongoing security row against the British home secretary.
An insider claimed that the former working royal believes he is stuck in this "unbelievable situation" due to his father. The source continued, "If the king wanted, he could do this for his son."
A source closer to Harry shared that the threat against him is "very real." The Sussexes need protection if they arrive in the UK.
"The idea that the security forces wouldn’t allow anything to happen is a very glib dismissal of the reality of the threat the family faces," an insider added.
Moreover, the source stated, "Why would he bring his wife and children back to the U.K. if they are not going to be protected? The duke needs protection, they need protection. The threat level hasn’t changed since he stepped back from the royal family, if anything it has got worse because of the tabloid campaign against him and his wife."
It is pertinent to mention that Harry and Meghan Markle left the royal family in 2020.
Soon after their exit, Harry and his family were stripped of their Metropolitan Police bodyguards because they were no longer working royals.
Additionally, the Duke recently opened up about his legal battles and raised his concerns about his family's security in the UK during an interview in a bombshell ITV documentary.
