Kate Middleton appears to be setting some strict household rules for her three children, Prince George, to maintain discipline in the house.

Prince William and Kate have broken away from the royal tradition and have been heavily involved in the upbringing of their three children, rather than relying on nannies.

In a report published by The Sun, an insider revealed some of the rules that the Princess of Wales in uncompromising about when it comes to maintaining decorum in the Wales household.

“Shouting is absolutely ‘off limits’ for the children and any hint of shouting at each other is dealt with by removal,” the source detailed.

“The naughty child is taken away from the scene of the row or disruption and talked to calmly by either Kate or William.”

The insider added that things are “explained and consequences outlined” to the young children. Moreover, William and Kate “never shout at them.”

The rules have continued even with Kate’s preventative cancer treatment as she had been taking some time away from public life.

Moreover, the royal couple’s Norland-trained nanny, Maria Borrallo, makes decision with agreement with the parents.

“Maria is firm but she never acts unilaterally with the children on discipline. Kate and William, along with Maria, are strict with the children but have this magic ability to appear not to be,” the source continued.

"It is a military operation but you would never guess it because they work ferociously hard on their children’s upbringing and making it seem relaxed and happy for the three of them. They are very good at listening to the children but being firm."
