Richard Simmons’ team shared his heartbreaking final post that fitness guru had planned to reveal ahead of his sudden death.
The TV personality, who died at his home in Los Angeles on Saturday, July 13, just a day after his 76th birthday, was going to share another post on the weekend.
His team continued, “As you know, on the weekends, he would just share a photo with a caption. He always chose his photos and wrote his captions for the upcoming weekend by Friday.”
“So we have the post Richard planned to share with you last Sunday. We thought you’d want to see it,” they insisted.
The fitness guru, who rose to fame after starring in the popular series of aerobic videos, Sweatin’ to the Oldies, had saved a post for the upcoming weekend that read, “Let me fly you to the moon so we can gaze among the stars. Love, Richard.”
This brought about an emotional wave of sentiments in the comments section.
One fan commented, “This makes me want to cry.”
Another chimed in, “See you in the stars Richard.”
For the unversed, Richards was diagnosed with cancer in March earlier this year.
