Swifties in Germany have truly outdone themselves on the Eras Tour.
After wrapping up her three-night stint in the German city of Gelsenkirchen, Taylor Swift took to her Instagram on Saturday, July 20, to express her awe of the crowd at Veltins-Arena.
“Those 3 Gelsenkirchen crowds were AMAZING, and so thoughtful???” Swift wrote in the caption accompanying a series of photos from the sold-out shows.
The international pop sensation, 34, highlighted the creative gestures from her fans in attendance, including their unique “signs and paper hearts, the ‘Betty’ wave, and tons of DIY ‘willow’ orbs made out of balloons + phone flashlights.”
Swift also took a moment to express her gratitude for the support of her new record-breaking album, The Tortured Poets Department.
“I also wanted to say to everyone who’s supported the Tortured Poets Department, I am completely blown away by what you’ve done 0 it stayed at #1 for the first 12 weeks of its release and that’s never happened to an album of mine before, not even close!!” she wrote, adding, “You’re just the greatest.”
Looking ahead, Swift shared her excitement for upcoming performances, saying, “Anyway, now that we’ve officially kicked off our shows in Germany, I can’t wait to see you all in Hamburg next!”
