Meghan Markle has reportedly been struggling to steal Kate Middleton's limelight with her upcoming podcast series, as friends from Hollywood might not accept her invitation.
For the unversed, it was reported earlier that the Duchess of Sussex has been considering to invite her a few of her remaining friends from Hollywood to her upcoming podcast series in partnership with Lemonada Media.
Express.co.uk reported that she has been considering inviting Priyanka Chopra and former Suits co-stars in the initial episodes of her forthcoming show.
Now, an insider told Heat Magazine that the former working royal is 'desperate' to make her podcast a big 'success' however "a lot of people think she’s got real cheek to be asking for any sort of help from her old co-stars."
The source added, "After all she refused to take part in their recent reunion and has shown no interest in staying in touch with the majority of them – she wouldn’t even join their WhatsApp group."
The report stated that despite meeting Harry due to the success of her legal drama, the mother-of-three distanced herself from most of the cast and from the show.
"So, for her to now come with cap in hand asking for them to appear on her podcast and help promote her products is pretty tone deaf, to say the least," the source said.
Moreover, the tipster believes that Meghan should "explain herself and do some serious damage control if she’s going to have any chance of wooing them back to her side because there are a lot of hurt feelings."
Notably, these comments came after Princess Kate returned to the spotlight with a headline-making appearance at Wimbledon following her cancer diagnosis.
