Meghan Markle was reportedly left in tears by her husband Prince Harry's shocking decision amid divorce speculations.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been "struggling" since they relocated to the US after saying goodbye to their royal jobs in 2020.
The tensions are clearly rising between the couple. Indeed, it is even more severe than everyone is aware of.
"There’s buzz among people close to Harry and Meghan that the couple's marriage is hanging by a thread," an insider told In Touch Weekly.
"The real story is insane. She was in tears when he took off the ring. If they were to announce a divorce, it would be a bombshell. It’s shocking enough that the U.K. press is reporting on their ‘growing rift," the source added.
Prince Harry, who is 39 years old, and Meghan, who is 42 years old, are said to be having a difficult time despite the fact that they moved to Meghan's home state of California as a result of growing dissatisfaction with their position within the royal family.
They may soon find themselves reevaluating their relationship "because of all the pressure," the insider claimed per Business Times.
Recently, Harry shared a photo of himself with Meghan, in which he was not wearing his wedding band. This move only served to add fuel to the fire of the speculations that the couple had filed for divorce.
Harry has reportedly developed feelings of regret and boredom with his "difficult" wife, and that he despises the fact that he "never sees" his former pals. A royal historian and biographer has also predicted that Prince Harry will return to Britain permanently and by himself in the years to come.
