Reba McEntire has revealed that she will be singing on Happy’s Place and that the theme song is already in the works.
“It’s written, and we’re recording it at the end of this month,” McEntire shared at the 2024 Summer Television Critics Association Press Tour about the show’s theme song. “Hope you like it.”
McEntire was also the voice behind the I’m a Survivor theme song of her 2001 sitcom Reba, which recently skyrocketed with popularity and became a trending audio on TikTok.
The American singer and actress plays the role of Bobbie in Happy’s Place, who has to deal with her half-sister Isabella, played by Belissa Escobedo, whom she never knew she had, as her business partner for the restaurant she inherited from her father.
Even more, according to Deadline, McEntire’s musical talents will also be put to use within the show.
For instance, there is a stage in the tavern, where the series takes place, with space for the singer to perform.
With her return to The Voice as a coach, she shared that Season 26 coaches Michael Bublé and Snoop Dogg have also exhibited interest in appearing in cameos on the sitcom.
