Gypsy Rose Blanchard speaks up on ‘question of paternity’ amid Ryan Anderson split
Gypsy Rose Blanchard shares her thoughts on paternity issue in a new interview
Gypsy Rose Blanchard has recently clarified that Ken Urker is the father of her baby and not her estranged husband Ryan Anderson.
“It was mid-March when I left Ryan,” she said during an appearance on Good Morning America.
Gypsy stated, “So, this is absolutely 100 percent Ken's baby. There was never any question of paternity.”
However, Gypsy wished Ryan well, with whom she married in 2022 while serving a prison sentence of the second-degree murder of mom Clauddine ‘Dee Dee’ Blanchard.
“I'm hoping that he is okay. And I wish him the best emotionally,” remarked the 32-year-old.
Gypsy mentioned, “Right now, I have not even had a moment to stop and think about anybody else except for, ‘Am taking my pre-natals in the morning? Am I drinking enough water?’”
“I have so much to focus on, making sure that I'm healthy for this baby,” she added.
On July 9, Gypsy announced she and Ken, who called off their previous engagement in 2019, are expecting.
“This was not planned at all, it was completely unexpected,” shared Gypsy in a YouTube video.
Gypsy further said, “We're both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood.”
“I know that there are going to be people that feel like I'm not ready to be a mother,” she noted.
Gypsy added, “I just don't know if anyone is ready to be a mother. I don't know anyone who's like, 'Okay, I'm ready I'm doing this.' So, I feel a shift in myself."
