Anya Taylor-Joy allegedly had an "awkward run-in" with the cast of the upcoming Fantastic Four film, including Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, Vanessa Kirby, and director Matt Shakman, at the Chiltern Firehouse in London on Wednesday night.

The encounter reportedly left Taylor-Joy looking "furious" after she "almost bumped into" the group.

This comes after rumours last year suggested Taylor-Joy was in the running to play the Silver Surfer, a role that has since been reportedly given to Julia Garner.

The film, set for release next year, will star the cast above as the Fantastic Four, with filming expected to begin in the UK later this month, as confirmed by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.

The Sun reported that Anya "almost bumped into them" and was seen making a "quick exit" from the premises.

Shortly after arriving around 8.30 pm, she was reportedly seen "running out" and trying not to be photographed. Hours later, Pedro, Joseph, Vanessa, and Matt allegedly left the restaurant.

A source told the outlet that the Queen's Gambit star - looked "happy and relaxed" when she arrived.

They however added: "But she left about five minutes later looking pretty annoyed. It turned out that Pedro, Joseph and Vanessa were all inside eating and it seems Anya saw them and turned on her heel."

They said she made a "quick exit" and "seemed to be pretty angry" by her expression.

Since EURO 2024 coverage was taking place, the source hinted that it wasn't "an issue of space" and that it had been "pretty quiet" when she arrived at the Chiltern Firehouse.

They said: "Seeing as she was axed from Fantastic Four, it makes sense that she wouldn't have wanted to hang around."
